Projects funded by the Ministry of the Environment and Justice and by the Sammelfonds für Bußgelder.
In 2023 and 2024, two projects supported by the Sammelfonds für Bußgelder were carried out, with the aim of strengthening community ties and responding to the particular needs of vulnerable groups.
A cooking workshop for children
The first project, for children aged 5 to 11, set out to teach the young participants the basics of a healthy, balanced diet. The children learned to prepare simple, nourishing meals from fresh, local produce, while discovering why good food choices matter. The programme raised awareness among the children and their families of eating habits that pay off in the long run, in a way that was both educational and playful.
Support for senior citizens of African origin
The second project took place in December 2024. It set out to support the older members of this often isolated community by providing material donations: clothing and food. Alongside the donations came moral support intended to break social isolation. The work strengthened community ties and improved the recipients' quality of life.
